About the Author



Yene Shewaneh is a wife and a mother of two boys. She is a data scientist by profession. In 2009, Yene earned her master’s degree in information technology from the University of Phoenix. Her prior education, bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and computer science, gave her an opportunity to teach science in school and to tutor young kids and youth in her spare time. She volunteers at school and in her community, serving children and youth in academics, sports activities, and spiritual wellness.
